The Brief

Albert Goodman wanted a space that their staff would be ‘proud to work in and that would increase collaboration across various departments’. The goal was to create a variety of activity-based working spaces and zones within the office to help break up the open-plan space. This would also better accommodate the modern hybrid workforce that they are working with.

The Space

The new modern office was a stark change from the original, multi-storey office that Albert Goodman had been used to. We wanted this change to be as smooth as possible. Within the design brief, we incorporated natural elements as studies have shown this improves employee mental well-being and creates a more calm working environment. We used bright colours in the open-plan office though the main benefit will be the large skylight that provides a lot of natural light. The full-size kitchen and adjacent traditional office space mean that the new office remains functional, while the addition of a colourful breakout room will lift employee morale and provide a better space for collaborative working.

Furniture Specification & Procurement

Furniture is designed to fit with the overall design brief of the project, new, refurbishment or replacement. Full take care of the full procurement, recycling and upcycling. We can arrange showroom visits to demonstrate what individual pieces look like within an office setting
