A new home for Olympus Power, designed to support the continued growth of the business.

Bespa was commissioned to fully refurbish the first floor, creating a modern, functional workspace across two distinct areas. The design delivers a clean, natural aesthetic while providing a new home for the team, thoughtfully shaped to accommodate the diverse ways they work and collaborate.

The project began by stripping the first-floor areas back to their core, creating a blank canvas while carefully preserving the building’s period features. Bespa delivered a full fit-out, including new ceilings, partitioning, flooring, lighting, plumbing, electrical works, and full data and Wi-Fi integration.

The design introduces two distinct workspaces. The first is an open-plan area with a touchdown meeting bench and small teapoint, encouraging collaboration and casual interaction. The second provides focus rooms for the Business Development and Finance teams, alongside a multi-functional space for large meetings, training, and social activity. A brand-coloured table doubles as a snooker table, complemented by a ping pong table, while flexible layouts accommodate visiting colleagues from the Leeds office.

Our design embraces a minimalist, natural palette, complemented by vibrant brand accents that flow throughout the workspace. Sunlight floods through original sash windows, enhancing timber and neutral finishes to create a bright, welcoming environment. Every detail — from joinery and furniture to soft furnishings — is carefully considered to support collaboration, focus, and everyday activity. The result is a flexible, thoughtfully crafted workplace that balances style and function, delivering a modern office refurbishment designed to help people thrive and work comfortably.
