Milsted Langdon are a leading independent firm of chartered accountants with offices across the Southwest. We gave them a new collaborative working environment, maximising the existing space.

Bespa was engaged to help with the upgrade and redesign of the existing Taunton office. Through ongoing staff engagement, the new design of the office was created to support and enhance the well-being of our people and to upgrade the experience for visitors.

We gave them a new collaborative working environment, maximising the existing space. The ground floor entrance was opened up to create a more generous and welcoming arrival space, supported by a new wayfinding strategy that introduces a clear and cohesive visual language throughout the building. A key focus of the project was the breakout area, designed as a flexible, multi-purpose hub for the team. and positioned on the top floor to maximise views across the surrounding countryside. A mix of collaborative zones, quieter settings and meeting spaces supports everyday working while allowing the space to remain adaptable for the future.

A calm, neutral palette forms the foundation of the design, with natural timber and planting introducing warmth and creating a subtle connection to the surrounding landscape. The brand’s accent colour is thoughtfully threaded through the workspace, linking the different areas while maintaining a cohesive visual language. This palette is expressed through carefully considered details in the furniture, joinery and upholstery, adding depth without overwhelming the space. Layered with planting, artwork and carefully curated styling, these elements bring the various zones together to create a workspace that feels clean, balanced and naturally connected.
