The Brief
Balancing focus and collaboration
Progressive approached Bespa to reimagine their existing workspace across two floors, with a focus on optimising space planning while retaining key areas for focused work. The brief called for a refreshed environment that reflects the company’s bold brand and energises its growing, youthful team. By balancing functionality, identity, and experience, the design needed to support a variety of working styles, from collaborative open-plan areas to quieter, more dedicated spaces. The aim was to create a cohesive, future-ready workplace that feels vibrant, efficient, and aligned with Progressive’s evolving culture.

Space
The ground floor centres around an open-plan workspace that connects directly to the reception, creating a strong sense of arrival and openness for both staff and visitors. This area flows into a breakout space designed for informal interaction, complete with recreational elements that support team culture. Adjacent boardroom and finance areas provide more structured environments, while the first floor is dedicated to the drawing team, offering a quieter, focused setting with its own meeting facilities. The layout ensures a clear balance between collaboration and concentration, allowing each team to work effectively within a cohesive overall environment.
